What is the Fair Oaks, VA area like—cost of living on new nurse salary/weather/housing/etc.

Northern Virginia is very high cost of living. Pay for nurses is better in DC. From the outside, Inova RNs always appear to have PTSD.

I worked at Fair Oaks Hospital for 10 years. I live in the next county now. Pay at Fair Oaks is good and hospital is great. However, cost of living is very expensive. You may need a roommate if you don't have one. This is Fairfax County, a very liberal and expensive county to live in.
