Yes. I see the vaxes being pulled off the market due to the number of deaths and injuries. All mandates removed. It's already happening.
Masking is a significant indicator of our national and healthcare status. It's a practice we used to associate with other countries, but now it's our usual and customary route for self-protection. Unfortunately, due to misinformation and a severe lack of proper PPE, we've lost many nurses. This underscores the urgent need for adequate PPE to protect our healthcare workers.
Nope! Here to stay
Where do you work? I'm on a med/surg/ortho/ neuro floor and masking has been optional for a while. It's only required for respiratory isolation rooms. It's the same in the AL/MC community I also work in. I wear one because I have a baby at home and it's become habit at work now.
No
No.
Yes. I think you will sooner than later, as even though they are currently plentiful, N95 and surgical mask use represents an expense to facilities. I do think that you'll see more individual RN's opt into wearing them, especially in the ED, triage roles, and during flu season.
No
I do not think so. I think that the government rules are getting too stringent for the population. If you've had your shots then I don't think it is needed when in contact with a patient who has also had their shots.
