I am looking into getting my infusion nurse certification. How do I go about it? I have only been in the country going 2 years this April working as a nurse. I am foreign educated with a BSN

It's not required to be certified to become an infusion nurse. Good IV skills are required. A good knowledge of picc lines and central lines is a plus. There is a CRNI certification you can obtain if you wish but it's not required. Home Infusion Pharmacies are always looking for nurses with great IV skills and knowledge.
