I was recently diagnosed with diabetes. What are the potential long-term impacts of continuing to work with diabetes, and how can I plan for the future?

I am 64 years old. I have diabetes. I have been working full time as a registered nurse in skilled nursing facilities . Taking care of Sub Acute patients. The walking/ exercise is good. My diabetes is under control.
