I am a nurse in Uganda east Africa, how can I Be employed in USA?

March 7th, 2022

I am a Japanese nurse. I came here as a student and luckily enough that there are Japanese people working here I met in Ohio. I started working a hospital as a CNA where a Japanese person was working and supposed to help Japanese employees in Honda company in Ohio since I am the Japanese nurse. Meantime, I started working on transferring my nursing school credits, so I can get a green card, take state board exam and advance my career. I passed Ohio State Board after taking prep courses and started working as a RN. I thought that nursing would be the same where I am going even internationally, but I realized that the nursing is based on the culture, so it might be helped me more adjusting if I went a nursing school when looking back. You need a lawyer to help to get Green card or you need to marry an American citizen, so you can get the green card automatically. I hired lawyer since my other friend suggested at that time. You could get a hospital lawyer if the hospital agrees to take care of you like a sponsor. Sorry for a long story. In short, you need a green card and to pass a state board where you want to work. I hope I helped you. Good luck to your future!
