Graduated 2021 and haven’t really work as an RN. Im very nervous and shy to even apply for nursing job. I dont know where to start my nursing career. Please help

Start in the ICU on Night Shift

You need to overcome fear. You cannot be a good nurse if you are controlled by fear. As a nurse you will be an advocate for your patients. Nurses face challenges almost every day in their routine work. Please overcome your fear and jump in it. I am sure you worked hard to become a nurse. Seek healthy counselling to overcome your fear. Patients are afraid demise and they need a comforting hand to assure them of wellness

If you have a desire for a certain area I would make it known. But if not apply at a hospital near you and let them know you are a new graduate. They should orient/ train you and most likely you will start on nights. You need to get the training on the floor for two years to be comfortable. After that you can go wherever your heart desires.
