What is it like being a cath lab RN? How to set yourself up for success as a new grad nurse/ newer nurse?

It’s the best thing in the world. I do travel cath lab. So I get to experience how everyone does it. I’m currently in Maine and it’s beautiful here.
The cath lab is very “hurry up and wait” super busy and sometimes creeping slow… most every place is gonna be two nurses and one tech as the team. Sometimes a four man team. Patient care is completely different in the cath lab.
You have to be on call a lot which is a deal breaker for a lot of people. Your work-life balance is way off but you make a lot of money so you have that going.
