Moving to Phoenix Arizona soon. Which hospital do you recommend for a new grad that wants to work in the OR or Cath Lab? TIA

I'm a Nurse Educator in AZ. The OR nurses and Cath Lab nurses LOVE new grads. They have lots of training programs that are designed to specifically onboard new grad nurses into perioperative services. Have you tried looking into Banner Health? They have multiple facilities in the Phoenix area

Would not recommend starting a new grad in the cath lab. Need critical care experience. I know this from personal experience.
There is specific training for working in the OR for either scrub or circulator. Highly recommend the OR after 23 years as scrub/circulator.

Banner Health is a great origination. They have several hospitals throughout the Phoenix region. Banner downtown is a trauma center, level 1.
I would stay away from Abrazo/Tenet. They are for profit.
