About Providence Lubbock

Covenant Medical Center was founded in 1998 through the merger of two of Lubbock's most venerable heath care facilities, St. Mary of the Plains Hospital and Lubbock Methodist Hospital System. It is Providence Lubbock's main facility, and has grown from a 10-bed hospital and clinic to a state-of-the-art medical facility. It includes a Level 2 Trauma Center and the first and only Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC) in the Panhandle Plains and Eastern New Mexico region. Covenant Medical Center is steadfast in serving all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable. Choosing where to receive your health care is an important decision. When you choose Covenant Medical Center, you benefit from the convenience of advanced technology and the peace of mind that comes from being cared for by compassionate staff. We combine experienced medical professionals, successful patient outcomes and community outreach to provide the best possible patient care.
