Never wear your scrubs to and from work. Never. Always arrive in professional attire and change. Keep one weeks supply there and wash/ exchange on your day off. This way if you get dirty, you can change at work.dont wear work shoes home. Keep two pair of dedicated shoes st work. This is such a basic infection control question, I'm sad to answer it. Being s nurse, means that we have more education than the masses of unlicensed health professionals. But we must chose moment by moment to behave like it. This question is discouraging .behave like the professional that you are educated to be and arrive at work 10 minutes early to change. Don't wear dirty scrubs in your car, ever. Gross.
I lysol myself and anything that comes with me at the front porch. Walk in and drop them in the laundry. It's been working for me.

I agree that it is sad. But it is what it is.
Where I work, there are no facilities for changing or storing clothes. Covid has everyone freaking out. Re-using PPE because there may not be another shipment.b
