Leftover pizza from the dayshift celebration
Nothing ☹️
T-shirt for best. The worst is NOTHING, not even acknowledged.
Never received a gift.
gift card for Sonic only $5.00
A key chain
A back pack that had happy cna week on it. It was suppose to be for nurses week.
Another cup “ to stay hydrated”:; but you can’t keep it at the nurse’s station and don’t get time for breaks or lunch to use it!😂
I seem to have collected several coffee mugs, even though I don't coffee. For the most part, they're sitting in the kitchen cabinet.
😒gift card to Sonic for $5 , is the worst
Pizza
Tickets to Broadway plays was the best! Our VP included the cost in her departmental budget for several years. It was amazing. And at the other end of the spectrum, we got a mere nod and mention. Much smaller budgets in LTC.
A pair of socks
A raffle ticket for one of 20 flowers for the entire nursing staff in a 300 bed hospital
A small 2x1 inch accordian folded address book.
Best gift was an umbrella. I received it years ago and still use it. Worst gift a plastic mug for hot/cold drinks that isn’t thermal and doesn’t seal. Junk.
The worst is being ignored due to being an agency nurse while the other direct employed nurses and the nursing associates are being recognized or celebrated. On approach to the superior is that, the counts of the full time employees are being considered in whatever it's been done.
Not being appreciated during the particular week by the agency that hired me.
Mostly nothing is given .i would say the worse gift is chocolate.no thought at all to buy candy .
No acknowledgment at all…..😢
The best gift was a Scooter Coffee gift card from the DRs. The worst was dressing scissors. They were nice but not very exciting.
Worst gift = candy 😡 . We are not children
Nothing
A magnet! Worst EVER!
Nothig/pizza.
Pizza
Donuts and pizza
A plastic camping lantern that had all different light colors that rotated —gave us a headache with color rotation.
Pizza, Jersey Mikes subs, cookies, bbq to take home. On location chair massages during nurse week.. it was fabulous. Worst a mug
An extra small T-shirt left over from a promo two years ago for the company...donated it to a thrift store on the way home, perhaps someone's kid could use it. Also along the lines of useless, no one cares about a pizza party.
Best gift? Back in the day with paper charts and written notes, manager got everyone a high quality, nice writing pen (also received it in gift bag with other useful items.) Everything in gift stated "This manager actually put some thought into this." Class act.
A nice dinner.
A pen
When I and other travel nurses were not recognized for nurses week but the place we worked, gave special gifts to “their “ nurses. Really wasn’t a very good experience.
A Ziplock baggie with Lifesavers because "you are a lifesaver", Kit kat bar because " everyone needs a break" , smarties , and rolos.
Nothing, Nice dinner coupon for me and my family.
Pen and paper
The best,a stethascope, the worst,a happy nurses day greeting.
I received a north face jacket, a scented oil, lavender for sleep. all these from AMN, best gifts ever. It's going 4-5 years now and i wear that jacket every winter. Worst gift came in gift bags, lip gloss, pen and sweets from another employer.
For the most recent Nurses Week, we got a prepackaged cookie
worst: cheap handwash soap
best: mug, pen, back bag all customized with my name and title
A backpack was the best. A thermometer was the worst
A tub of popcorn for the whole lounge to share.
Cheap plastic cup filled with old candy! Just what a nurse needs to feel appreciated 🤣
A dollar tree candy!! Lol
Worst gift was a pen and post-it note pad...the same gift they gave the staff at Christmas! 🙄
