Should nurses be allowed to assist with assisted suicide or euthanasia?

I feel as though because we administer medications regularly there’s no reason that we shouldn’t be able to assist with this, especially as it’s like a hospice type of scenario essentially which I feel nurses are essential for. Sure an MD could walk in and administer the medication (and don’t get me wrong there’s fantastic compassionate docs out there) but nurses have such a different education set and practice and I feel like are more capable of providing the holistic compassionate care that is necessary in those moments.
