Hi. Are there HIV/AIDS facilities that nurses can work?

HIV as a whole is managed through clinics. Most big cities have them. If you can find an Infectous Disease doctors office, they will have patients that they manage for HIV.

Most ID clinics serve people living with HIV. There are facilities that specialize in HIV/AIDS care. In Kansas City, MO, there is a facility called Hope Care Center. There is probably a facility near you. Most people living with HIV will be seen by an ID specialist or their primary care provider once or twice per year. If you are seeking experience caring for people living with HIV, an Infectious Disease clinic will probably be your best bet.

St. Clare's Hospital in NY City was at one time all HIV care. Contact national AIDs/HIV associations and ask them, as they will have lists of places with that particular specialty. Often these are not inpatient facilities bu clinics. Organizations such as GMHC and others can steer you in the right direction.
