After working for one year in a nursing care home then take 3-6 months off (just to live life for yourself) and try in another care home. Does it affect your resume or in any other way?

Taking a break from work for 3-6 months after working for one year in a nursing care home is not uncommon and should not have a significant impact on your resume. In a bigger city, all but a few staff rotate between the existing nursing homes, they change jobs for various reasons, pay, schedule, following supervisor or friends, and most of the facilities are used to that. As long as you pass a background check and know your job, they'll give you a try. But if you ever take a break and hope to return to the same facility, it's best to give some notice before you leave
