I've been a LPN for 20 years now, specializing in long-term care, but feel as if I've reached my highest potential right now... How can I expand my nursing knowledge and experience without making me go severely into debt or returning to college?
I agree with the other answer to you question. Go to a community college and get your associates degree in nursing. Best thing I ever did for myself was going back to school. I would also pay attention to any programs they may have for A to B programs. Look for schools that have a high pass rate for NCLEX exam. That means they are teaching students well. Good Luck!!!
Home health or private duty .. state of Ca uses LVNs for case management .
You can explore areas of nursing care enhancement by taking CEU courses online or booklets. Try them quarterly or bianually!
Do online classes get your RN. Check with your employer see if they cover it. Most employer's cover tuition reimbursement with some sort of comitment on your part. RN. pays twice what you're making after you complete the program. Go for it you're as good as you want to be. Online classes are cheaper. Btw
My advice would be to look for a job in acute care (hospital) and advance your degree. Many organizations sponsor their staff through scholarship and tuition reimbursement. Best of luck to you
You can start by going to a community college. They offer free tuition.
