Call can be extremely taxing when you work all day and get called back in at 2 AM for a patient in cardiac arrest. Often you go home and sleep for an hour before you have to return to work for your regularly scheduled shift that day. Recovery can sometimes be brutal no matter what your age.

The hardest part is learning the product, the equipment, the physician preferences and anatomy from different angles under xray. Most hospital settings don’t have a formal internship so it’s self learning.
