I currently have an active license in Ontario. I need help in getting a NY nursing license.

I currently have the Indian license as a registered nurse as I'm from India if NY providing jobs for outsiders than it will be necessary to obtain for work.

Get with an agency that hires foreign nurses and they will help you to do your paperwork. They will know what paperwork you need and how to go about it.

I had to get paperwork from the school that I received my undergrad degree and also do verification of nursing license from every state that I hold a license in. The verification link is on the New York nursing licensing page. You have to download the form for your school to complete. You also have to complete a training in which I had to pay for since I didn’t attend school in New York. The training is listed with the link on website and I believe it’s on pathogens and some other training. I took about a hour to complete both of them.
