What does being a nurse mean to you?

Doing the best I can for others each shift.

This is a very nice question. I never wanted to be a nurse, ever. I wanted to he a Vet. But the shool I've attended, did not supply adequate education in that regard. I was bamboozled into being a nurse. My best friend. This was more than 30 yrs ago. I've grown, emotianaly, mentally and so has my compassion for solving problems. The nursing mind, is alway hungry, inventive, inquisitive and learning.My personality wouldn't be satisfied with less.
