How do you receive you license number upon passing the NCLEX (in NYS)?
Once you take the NCLEX in NYS, you will be notified if you passed, and if you did, they will send you a congratulatory letter, next you will receive your certificate with your nursing license number on it.
Go to the BVNPT website for New York. Each state has their own. From there you can navigate the site to where you can look up your license number.
Yes. Go to the office of professions and type your name under nurse. If your name is there you passed and your license number will be there.
Go to https://www.op.nysed.gov/verification-search
Select search by Licensee Name and under profession select Nurse, RN
Then type in the last name and the license number will pop up beside their name
Unfortunately you can't include the first name for whatever reason to narrow down the search so either hopefully you have an uncommon last name so you don't have to sift through pages to try to find the person you're looking for but you can click on the date of licensure column that will order it by most recent
