Should I do an accelerated BSN or just got for my MSN I am a CNA and have a bachelors in psychology. Long term I want to be a NNP but with no prior nursing other than CNA I’m unsure what the best route is. Thanks

Depending on your other circumstances in your life, if you have time, I would recommend getting your MSN. Your long term plans may change and you may eventually want to do a different career route. If another career route only needs a masters as a formality, then you have your MSN already, and you wouldn't have to go back to school. MSN for long term flexibility. BSN if your priority is going to bed side ASAP and you are dead set on NNP

Go forBSN, MSN is not needed to start in nursing. You need at least 5 years med/surg to be competent NP.
