What color scrubs should I get? My current hospital lets the nurses wear whatever they want. What the most common color for RN’s across the country and for NPs since I am in DNP school and if they hold up, I can just continue with them.

The most common scrub colors are navy blue, ceil blue, and burgundy. Dark or vivid colors tend to fade pretty quickly with repeated washing, particularly when hot water is used. It is helpful to turn them inside-out to help during washing and drying to reduce fading due to friction. Lighter colors are nice but they show dirt and stains more easily. What I would recommend is wearing matching pants and tops with a print scrub vest or jacket over the top. Using a vest or jacket has the benefit of giving you a few extra pockets. If printed scrubs aren't your "thing" you might consider adding interest by ordering them with custom embroidery (letters or characters).
