There is a critical care Academy in North Hollywood California. They are really popular for renewing BLS and ACLS training. Prices are very reasonable if your employer don’t pay for it.

There are tons of places Google ACLS cert class including the city you are in now. You will be able to cert for both on the same day.

I don’t know about California, but hear in Georgia you can go online and read the material, take the test and get your certificate. The cost is minimal.

Most hospitals and health care facilities in the L.A. area want their employees to have the American Heart Association (AHA) certification of BLS/ACLS. If you go to the AHA website, they will tell you the locations for that. I did it last November, and I did the ACLS renewal and was able to add on the BLS renewal.
