How do you feel about the COVID vaccine incentives now being offered?
52% of patients currently dying in ICU with COVID are fully vaccinated. It doesn’t prevent the virus. Even the CDC admits that. The only thing they say now is it “hopefully” keeps you from getting very sick. You absolutely can get the disease as well as pass it on to others while fully vaccinated. BTW, they now say you aren’t fully vaccinated until your 4th booster. It won’t end. Also, the names of fully vaccinated nurses were swabbed and compared to unvaccinated. The ones with the jab had 7x the level of viral load. Who is protecting who again???
I'm ok with it. I wish there was a way to get incentives to everyone, but at the same time, I got a vaccine because it was the right thing to do and I've placed importance on protecting myself when others didn't see the need. My incentive was to stay healthy and not get covid. Other people were willing to gamble. Is it right that they now get paid for merely doing the right thing? Not really, but I'd rather get DONE with covid than whine and complain that someone else is getting more than me.
Hi, I think it can be a good idea or a bad idea! You should not need an incentive other than get your free covid-19 shot to protect you and/or your family and friends. So, I guess it just depends if you're looking at the glass half-full or half-empty?
Too little too late. We have been grossly taken for granted for years. There has been little concern for the conditions we worked under these past 18 months, often hearing, “this is what Nurses signed up for”. The worse are the people who refuse to get vaccinated and/or wear a mask, and their indifference to what how their actions have on Healthcare workers.
I would never work for those entities. COVID is a virus and one in healthcare needs to follow the isolation protocol. However, the shut down was BS and incentives are just money.
