I worked in Maternal Child my whole 17 year career, working at an LDRP (Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum & I am a Lactation Consultant-IBCLC). Our unit was closed recently. Have been considering Hospice care. Hospice RNs: best way to transition?

January 16th, 2024

Hospice care is a specialized type of medical care that focuses on providing comfort and support to patients with serious illnesses and their families. Hospice care is provided by a team of healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, who work together to manage symptoms, provide emotional support, and help patients and their families navigate the healthcare system. If you are interested in transitioning to hospice care, you may want to consider taking additional courses or certifications to gain the necessary skills and knowledge. You can also network with other healthcare professionals to learn about job openings and opportunities. I hope this helps!
