I am going to graduate with my BSN in May - what is the most lucrative career choice for a new grad?

What aspects or specialties of nursing interest you? What drove you to pursue a career in nursing? What kind of environment do you thrive in? What are your personal/family needs? There are so many more factors than money when deciding where to focus your time and abilities. Depending on where you live, you may not have much choice in where you work. Facilities seem to go through periods where they just don't have the capacity for new grads and you may find yourself simply taking whatever job you can get. I personally feel that Med-surg is a great place to start. You hone your assessment and critical thinking skills and get a feel for what specialty you may want to approach in a year or two.
