Case management- look for remote or hybrid positions contacting patients after inpatient treatment to confirm they have follow up appointments scheduled and were seen, have received medical equipment, review new medications and treatments. Phone triage can be remote depending on the company- family practice or internal medicine always looking. Utilization review- check for jobs from insurance companies like United Health to review documentation prior to surgeries/elective procedures. Skilled nursing facilities usually have a nurse (ideally remote) that reviews all nursing documentation to receive maximum reimbursement for Medicaid patients. Good luck in your search.
