Average pay will greatly vary from hospital, SNF, LTC, rehabs, and clinics. However, expect from $28-40/hr.
Graduated in December. Started as a new grad in the OR making $37.03/hr.
It depends on many factors: location, non-profit v/s profit, the type of new grad work - hospital, SNF, ALF, hospice or home health.
Averaging all those together would land a new grad in the $30-36/hr range.
There may be sign on bonus and/or tuition reimbursement rolled into the offer as well, be sure to ask about benefits.
A good deal more than it is for those who have left the field and are returning Is considered competitive and rightly so
$37 would probably be about right for someone with a few years of experience… for a new grad I think it’s probably closer to $30
