Hi there! I currently work for Aya Healthcare as a travel nurse. I receive a weekly stipend that helps pay for my housing and meals. The trick is finding housing that works for the amount of stipend you’re given (this can differ depending on location). With Aya, I also have to be at least 50 miles (could be greater than 50 miles depending on the facility) from where I live to where I work. If I decide to take a local contract, meaning less than 50 miles away, I do not receive weekly stipend. Hope this helps!
