Any advice on outpatient vs inpatient as a new grads first nursing job? They seem like very different opportunities I’m not sure what is best for my career.

They are very different! I think most people will tell you that you should get a year on a med/surg floor of some sort in a hospital, so you can work on your clinical skills, delegation, time management and charting. After that, you can decide. One of the main issues in going into outpatient right off the bat is that you probably will not get very much mentoring; you'll sort of be expected to know what you are doing, and it may be hard to get supervision if you need help.
