I got offered 103k salary with 10% night shift differential and 25% weekend differential in NYC Manhattan, MICU/CCU. Is this average or above average for pay with 1yr experience in stepdown?

Sounds about right. $102k as a new grad in NYC. Night Shift is only like $3/hr more and there’s no weekend differential.

I'm in Richmond, VA area and the same job would pay about $40, $15/hr less than this offer. Housing here has become expensive, $1500-$2000/month for a decent apartment. It's probably a lot more to live in Manhattan, so I'd say it's comparable.
