Don’t do scrubs! Business professional. A suit and tie (if male). I think women’s pant suits are so professional. Plus you want to show your future boss/placement of employment that you are a professional, which you are. Hair picked up, no dangling earrings, not too much perfume, subtle makeup, low heels, decent purse, no short sleeves… good luck.
If it takes place in the hospital and close to the unit you are applying for then scrubs are a good idea as you can ask to tour the unit. If this is not the case then nicer business casual i.e. pant suit or a conservative dress.
For women: “smart or business casual” A combination of well-fitting, polished business wear with elements of casual attire like blouses, shirts, button-downs, dress pants and polished, practical footwear.
Business professional, suit & tie is my preference.
Business professional. Trousers, blouse and a suit jacket. Low heeled shoes or flat shoes. I do not recommend wearing scrubs to the interview.
Dress like a professional. I would wear slacks, a button down shirt or a nice blouse and a nice jacket. Make sure you shoes are clean and polished. A pair of small earrings.
Stand up straight, smile and make eye contact. You are on stage!
When in doubt Business/Professional attire.
