My son got a dual degree in Public Health & Biology. He worked for a time at a company called Virta, which is a health promotion-type company. It didn’t pay well… Unfortunately, decent job prospects (well-paying) are not too plentiful with that type of degree. A lot of jobs (that aren’t no-pay internships) require an advanced degree. My son went back to school & got a Master’s degree in Public Health & Epidemiology at Columbia. He now has a job as a research analyst at a medical school in NYC, and makes an ok salary. It’s tough out there for everyone, but especially for new college grads. I wish you the best of luck!

Geting a BSN expands your knowledge for career advancement, and add to the improvement on quality care delivery! I need thought I would go on but after strting the educational pathway I was motivated to go from a BSN to MSA to a Doctorate in Health Administration. Teaching is rewarding and helps to improve quality of care for all. Go For It!
