How can someone become trained in CRRT, ECMO, heart surgeries, etc. after your first year of nursing. Is there any way to be trained other than through your hospital? Thank you!

I have not personally seen outside trod I g for what you are asking for. Most facilities want you trained on their equipment, get used to their policies, protocols & practices, as well as get to k ow and work with the other team members that you will be working with during such needs.
There are good articles & support for the principles and procedures themselves. I'd suggest you become familiar with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN.org). They have lots of supplemental information to help you - look into & become a member for great benefits & discounts!
