What’s the best place to work in Florida? Considering moving from San Diego to FL to be closer to family.

Nowhere! Florida is so over populated. The majority of people are elderly and the pt load is so heavy! People are older, sicker, and need so much more care but don’t have the money to afford it. It’s heartbreaking at times. Plus- Florida does not pay well. :-(

I don't have an answer to your question but your pay will drop significantly and your patient load will definitely increase!! Also when you get your Florida license it becomes public knowledge. All kinds of people you've never heard of reach out to you with shockingly low rates. I wish I had known in advance because it's really too much. Good Luck!
