I got my nursing license in California and am planning to get another one in Texas in a couple of months. Do you think it will take me long to get another license?

I moved from Massachusetts to Texas almost two years ago. It took about 3 weeks to get a temporary license that was switched to permanent by 6 weeks.

I just got my TX license & also have a CA license. Getting my TX license was quick. You have to send over/submit nursys verification, do fingerprints & take a TX jurisdiction test. Overall probably took 2 weeks to get my license. Way faster than CA.

Not sure how long it takes to get a Texas license. Consider applying for a compact license, once you obtain the Texas license. However, the state you are living in, when you apply ,needs to be a compact state. Texas is a compact state. If you love to travel, this could be ideal. Google the current list of compact states.
