How do I start the process of getting certified in medical translating/interpreting?

First you have to get a class and a certificate,then you apply for the exam to get the certification.The exam is around 300 .The class is couple of hundreds .I believe 750

Any recommended programs?

There are multiple online certifications available. However do ask if the institutes got credentials and VERIFY with the board of education. Cuz quite a few will take your money and scam.
