What things should I monitor when administering moderate sedation?

VS: HR, BP, RR, SpO2, ETCO2 and how sedated the patient is we do vitals every 3 mins until back at base line. Also, suction set up, oxygen of course, Ambu bag and crash cart outside of the room and a working IV ;)

pt needs to be on monitor & check VS q10 min paying close attn; to respirations & O2 sats. Abort procedure if pt becomes obtunded ,protect airway, provide O2 support & administer reversal agents as needed.
