As a nurse have you had a patient comment on your clothing or hair?

Yes. And a simple, neutral "Thank you." is the answer. If the patient is obviously flirtatious, you may say "I appreciate the compliment, but I'm here to talk about you, not me." and proceed with whatever brought you into the patient's room. If the patient persists, you might say 'Do you have a spouse or partner? It must be difficult being here in the hospital without them." In this way you are addressing the underlying issue, not the superficial one.

No. I haven't, but I usually go to work in scrubs, and my hair pulled back or in a simple bob. I don't wear big earrings or perfume. I wonder why they would comment if our uniforms look almost the same.
