I’m an NP that went back to bedside—do I still keep my NP work in my resume? If I don’t there’s going to be a huge 10-yr gap on my resume, but I feel like leaving it on there is confusing to hiring managers and recruiters.

Yes keep it and be prepared to give an explanation.

I would leave it on there but be prepared to answer why you are no longer practicing as an NP. You may even want to put a statement with the last work experience that gives a brief explanation.

Of course you keep your NP work on there. If there are gaps in your work history you are not doing yourself any favors. To avoid any confusion put it on there. It’s best to not have your resume overlooked in the very beginning then to put it on there and explain it when it is talked out.
