Is it hard to get a job as an ADN in the hospital as a recent new grad? I've been told my chances are low but I will get my bsn once I start working.

Do NOT be intimidated . I have been an AD nurse for 50 years, have never had a problem getting a job. I was the mentor trainer for the new BSN grads because the AD school have hands on learning experience and BSN are more academic. None of the BSN grad had inserted a indwelling catheter, started an IV or changed a dressing. Promote the SKILLS you have. (I pursued certifications in specific areas because I was raising my 3 sons and working full time. I completed 6 certifications which allow me numerous administrative positions.
