I worked in the ER for almost 2 years in NJ and CA. I then moved over to substance use rehabilitation in the outpatient sector after Covid. Looking for my best way to get back into the ER ASAP! 15 mos removed trying to get back in ER has been tough.

Just apply for the job. When they ask you why you’re looking to leave your current position,just explain that you thought it would be good for you to expand your knowledge. Now, you can take that to your new job and you have a better understanding of what’s involved for the pt,once they leave the ER. Good luck.
