Where is the best place to work as an emergency room nurse in Miami Florida? I have been working at NYU Langone for the last 4 years and will be moving to Miami in December. I would love to learn more about the job market in Miami!

Congratulations on coming to Florida - it will be a big change but a great one! In Miami UM - University of Miami is the best place to be if you see an opportunity. Next would be Baptist Hospital. They have several locations that would be easy to get to with the shortest travel time. If you will be living close to the Broward County line the Memorial Healthcare System is terrific. According to my manager at NYU, they have opened facilities in Florida. Maybe you can transfer to one of the NYU locations in Florida just to get your foot in the door and ease the transition.

Not specifically familiar with Florida market...however seek a facility that is affialted with an academic instutition.
