how did you get into women's health nursing? ive been trying for over a year to get any position (inpatient or outpatient) and nothing. i would love to do outpatient obgyn but would also do inpatient mother baby/postpartum. for context i live in nyc

I was fortunate to get a job on a medical surgical gynecology floor as a LPN before I got my RN in 2010 and after getting my RN I got a job on Postpartum and have been in Postpartum since try a teaching hospital a university facility they are always hiring new grads people with no experience easier to get a job keep trying obgyn is harder to get into with no experience but not impossible
