Interview Question Advice: " Why are you the best person for this position?"
I was recently asked this question and I said because I have the skills and experience that will make me a good fit for this role. Talk about the attributes you have that are in line with the job description that you are applying for. You can also say that you are dependable and love to learn. They love to hear that people are life long learners. Also, there are normally a lot of behavioral or situational questions. You can google these. Good luck!
No one asks these type of questions. You will be asked behavioral type questions. Ie. Can you tell me about a situation when you encountered a problem and you took action instead of waiting for someone to take action. What was the situation, the action you took and result?
I get this question at most interviews. I research the facility well and look at their ratings. I look at any citations they receive or deficiencies. If they receive them for pressure ulcers or pain, I tell them "based on your survey results it appears you may need someone with experience providing....", this is what I can do to assist you. You really have to do your homework if you are serious about the job. Look at their core values or mission statements and talk about them as well. Hope this helps.
