Would love to become a flight nurse. I have 1 yr working at a community clinic & now moving to my home on the Big Island, HI to work in a rehabilitation position/ortho step down. HI is very competitive & not easy for an out-of-state RN. Any advice?

If your interested in Flight Nursing you will need critical care experience.

most of the flight nurses I know were trauma I nurses in an ER first. Look up Flight nurse in your area and see what the qualifications are. At the very least get all your advance certifications.

Get Med Surg experience first
