As a nursing student, I'm having a hard time with exam anxiety, any advice?

Get in the habit of studying to a level of comfort, your anxiety is either rational or irrational. You will know when your freaking out for no reason. Just take the test, you know more than you think you do.

Moving forward:
1 - Inform yourself; Being early is always the best way to inform yourself. Ask the "stupid" questions and read ahead of class. Make a group chat with every classmate in the class, I promise your not the only person with that one question plus sometimes you can help.
2 - Do the homework; often that's all the gap you need to pass the class, even if you don't know the answer do not leave it blank.
3 - Go to sleep; Pulling all-nighters because you're underestimating how long you have to procrastinate is a stressful game. The tests get easier the more you relax your body and mind; meditation is helpful. Pull into the parking lot 15 minutes early on test day and meditate, do not look in that book.
4 - Go Study; You don't learn the content with out reading it, yes, the Youtube videos are helpful(Nexus Nursing, Khan Academy, RegisteredNurse RN, Remar Nurse, Osmosis), but you must read too. By reading ahead you can ask your teacher about something you don't understand.
5 - Study Backwards; ydutS, NO!! After learning the content, you must test your comprehension in order to gain that much needed confidence and deter the anxiety. The best way to do this is get a classmate to quiz you; flashcards, multiple choice quizzes, mock med calc quizzes, whatever! If you're shy, answer the questions in the front and/or the back of your chapters and then check the answers. Write out the definitions on flashcards, read the definition, then try to guess the words.

Finally, anxiety is a normal part of everyday life. Mandate your self to doing 2-8 hours of a hobby per week, this is just as important as studying. However, if you find that the anxiety has become unbearable, or it begins to feel like an obsessive task of management, reach out to your program instructors. EVERY NURSING STUDENT HAS CRIED! It's a journey that is so worth it.
