How can one become a labor and delivery nurse without any experience. It’s pretty hard when most hospitals want nurses with experience in the field. What are some alternatives jobs, other than med surg, to get into labor & Delivery?

I would suggest trying to transfer to Mother Infant Unit ( post partum).
This will give you experience caring for pp pts and sometime antepartum pts.
Ask your manager if you can shadow in LDR too - gives you some insight into this practice!
