You really can't.
That being said, you could try an allied health position like phlebotomy or medical assisting. Some phlebotomy courses are as short as 2 weeks. MA courses are certificates and can be 9-16 months depending on the program structure.
You can be a nurse to your family when they are sick.
you can't. practicing nursing without a license is a federal offense. You can enjoy many thoughtful years in a federal jail.
You are going to have to go a school who is accredited by the state. Otherwise you will have a very difficult time being able to be licensed. And employers Will look at your educational background, Especially when you are first applying for a job following graduation and licensure. You will have a number of college classes that will be needed to complete this. You will also be required to attend clinical classes for hands on experience. So to expect to not to have to take any college classes ... nursing is not the one for this. Many places are beginning to require not only the RN degree, but also a BSN as entry level. Doing this without doing college classes is not advisable, maybe not even available. I will say that if I was hiring, and someone came in with no college classes, and the majority of their training online with very little hands on, there would be no way they would make it to the interview process.
You have to go to some sort of schooling for it either way but there are still hospitals in my area that give diplomas for nursing school (RN) and aren’t directly attached to a college but they still require college level prerequisite courses
Don’t waste your time. Whoever said, “There is no such thing as a dumb question.” Is a liar.
You can go to a Diploma program offered by a hospital, but that will still require some college credits to graduate. You will graduate with a Diploma of Nursing and qualify to take State Boards to become an RN.
There are some 2 year associate degree programs at community colleges where you'd graduate with an ADN (Associate Degree of Nursing) which would qualify you for boards.
Or you can take a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, usually a 4 year college program.
You would need to meet certain criteria from your high school courses and SAT scores to be accepted into any of these nursing programs.
You can graduate from any of these programs to qualify to take boards but if you do not pass, you cannot be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse.
