Graduating in IST Integration and working full-time as a Developer, I'm eyeing a Second Degree BSN near Philadelphia. Any good universities with weekend/evening classes? Is this a worthwhile path?

I graduated from Penn Nursing this May! Philly is a great spot for nursing opportunities but I have never heard of a weekend/evening program from the well-known programs (Temple, Drexel, Penn). If you do find a program just make sure it is accredited!! and look at the NCLEX pass rates for those institutions. Also what kind of clinical opportunities they have and if those align with the type of care you want to be in (Acute, Long term care, Short term rehab etc). Most people who do Nursing as a second degree (that I have met) do an Accelerated 2 year plan so you are in classes almost non-stop for 2 years but because it's considered Grad School you arent taking any gen eds. If you really see yourself leveraging a nursing degree or are really passionate about nursing then why not?
