How to stress importance of compact license to illi ois legislatures especially for nurses looking at telehealth careers that often require multiple state license

You can write to your legislators but I doubt it will help. I have been signing “Make Illinois a Compact State” petitions for years and nothing ever changes! The government running Illinois wants to keep ALL the money for nursing licenses all to themselves and that will not ever be any different. You have to move out of Illinois to go compact, which is exactly what I plan to do next year, hopefully and I am moving to a compact state for sure!!
